The Position Become part of an innovative organisation and play an active role in driving the growth of the Food & Nutrition Business Unit. As Account Manager Flavours (m/f/d), you will manage selected customers within the food industry and collaborate with them to develop tailor‑made flavour solutions. You will identify market opportunities, contribute creative ideas, and build long‑term, trust‑based customer relationships. In close collaboration with Product Management and Inside Sales, you will ensure that customers are supported seamlessly from initial concept through to market launch. Your Tasks and Responsibilities Responsibility for sales and business development in Germany in the field of flavours, including management of existing customers and key accounts Advising customers on the development, formulation, and optimisation of flavour solutions, and supporting product concept creation Identifying leads, acquiring new customers, and expanding strategically relevant market segments Preparing quotations, pricing calculations, and negotiating supply contracts together with Account Management and the Sales Team Close cooperation with Product Management and suppliers to develop and implement customer‑focused solutions Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for new and existing applications Planning and managing forecasts, demand planning, gap analyses, and potential assessments Implementing and tracking marketing and sales activities to strengthen market presence Your Profile Completed technical, scientific, or commercial degree-or equivalent training-ideally related to the food industry (e.g., Food Technology, Nutrition Science, Oecotrophology) Several years of relevant professional experience in sales and in the food and nutrition industry, particularly in flavours Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation ability, and a highly results‑oriented mindset A true hunter mentality, with the drive to achieve and exceed targets High level of commitment and initiative, with an independent, structured, and solution‑oriented approach Confident use of standard MS Office applications and experience with CRM systems Very good written and spoken German and English skills Willingness to travel regularly within Germany
