Position Summary:
As a Buyer, you are responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. You ensure goods are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and support efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage purchase orders and framework agreements based on demand
* Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely material availability
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to support smooth material flow
* Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and conditions independently
* Handle import transactions, including customs classification
* Analyze data and manage purchasing activities using ERP systems (SAP B1)
* Manage returns and debit notes in coordination with goods receipt and quality teams
* Verify and approve invoices
* Maintain and monitor LeanDNA software for supply chain efficiency
* Optimize purchasing processes and support KPI achievement
* Maintain accurate master data in ERP
* Take on ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications:
* Commercial or technical education, with relevant additional qualifications
* Experience in technical purchasing; industry or mechanical engineering knowledge is a plus
* Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience preferred
* Strong command of English
* Strong negotiation and analytical skills
