Your Impact
1. You successfully contract suppliers to provide AGCO with cost-optimized solutions, ensuring quality components and reliable delivery.
2. You develop and execute category strategies by supporting Category Buyers and Managers with supply analyses, negotiations, long-term contracts, and a strong understanding of industry trends, cost drivers, and manufacturing processes.
3. You apply the Strategic Sourcing process to test market pricing and establish best-cost contracts based on total cost of ownership.
4. You establish supplier development processes, coordinate on-site assessments and certification audits, and drive continuous improvement activities that reduce overall costs.
5. You investigate and recommend new or alternative sources of supply to support product development, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier performance improvements, while maintaining system updates and data integrity
Your Experience and Qualifications
6. Strong procurement expertise with deep knowledge of core purchasing processes and tools
7. Advanced negotiation skills and ability to design calculated negotiation strategies
8. Comprehensive business awareness of products, supply markets, competition, and cost drivers
9. Analytical strength for commodity strategy development and implementation
10. Leadership capability in coordinating Category Buyers and influencing cross-brand functional leaders
