Northern Germany - Quality Manager

As Quality Manager (m/f/d), you will report directly to senior management and take ownership of the quality management system in line with DIN EN 9100 at our manufacturing site. You will ensure quality processes are implemented effectively, lead the quality team, and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.

The Role

• Plan, organise, and oversee the quality management system in accordance with DIN EN 9100
• Maintain and continuously improve the standards set out in the quality management manual
• Own the development, upkeep, and documentation of the QM system
• Prepare for, conduct, and support both internal and external audits
• Investigate root causes of non-conformities and define and implement corrective measures
• Lead and develop a small team of quality professionals
• Report annually to senior leadership on the effectiveness and compliance of the QM system

About You

• Qualified technician or master craftsman in electrical, aerospace, or aviation engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Alternatively, technical vocational training (e.g. electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, aircraft electronics) supplemented by relevant further training
• Completed certifications: Quality Management Representative, Aviation Law, Internal/External Auditor per DIN EN 9100
• Several years of hands-on experience in a quality management leadership role
• Strong grounding in QM systems, methods, and technical documentation
• Working knowledge of MS Office, ideally with ERP system experience
• Fluent German and good English
