Summary
We are looking for a “Project / Product Manager Sensor Data Fusion / Sensor Resource Management (f/m/d)” for the “Integrated Airborne Solutions” division at the Immenstaad or Taufkirchen site as soon as possible
The Integrated Airborne Solutions program area is part of the “Airborne Solutions” business unit and manages the overall business development, acquisition, programming, product development and project management for airborne mission systems and in particular for the Sensor Data Fusion (SDF) / Sensor Resource Management (SRM) capability. Close collaboration both internally with our product, engineering and program teams as well as externally with national and international partners is essential.
Your Tasks
1. Elicitation, definition and analysis of customer and user requirements as well as internal and external program requirements to derive product structures and system concepts for SDF / SRM
2. Portfolio and technology management for SDF / SRM in close cooperation with program management and all involved business units / programs of the HENSOLDT Group including make-or-buy decisions and establishment of an industry partner network
3. Creation and implementation of a product roadmap in close coordination with all business units involved
4. Participation in the development of a strategy for SDF / SRM, the relevant technologies and ensuring implementation including planning and initiation of corrective measures
5. Market and competition analysis and definition of the R&D roadmap for SDF / SRM
6. Bid preparation in a bid team, also within existing / future consortium structures or industry teams, including positioning and workshare negotiations
7. Project management for internal development projects as well as for contract development and system integration, testing and acceptance together with the project team
8. Sales support to ensure a successful strategic positioning in the market as well as networking, information exchange and cooperation in the field of mission systems with other HENSOLDT programs
9. Support in business planning and maintenance of the business case as well as conducting presentations for management and customers
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is a prerequisite.
Your Profile
10. Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering or comparable training
11. Several years of practical experience in project and / or product management (PMI certification)
12. Several years of experience in portfolio and technology management
13. Practical experience in complex export sales campaigns, international business practices and business-to-business activities
14. Professional experience in the defense industry or with military mission systems and sensor technology
15. Good knowledge of technology, application and trends in electromagnetic and electro-optical sensors / effectors, but especially in mission system software, ideally specifically in the field of SDF / SRM
16. High methodical competence to capture and structure a complex information situation with a strong focus on solution space, design and cooperative leadership
17. Good presentation and negotiation skills
18. Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as persuasion and conflict resolution skills
19. Business fluent in German and English
