ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dynamic Solution Sales Manager to lead our Business Transformation Management (BTM) sales efforts in Germany. BTM is a central piece of SAP’s overall business suite strategy, positioning you at the forefront of digital transformation.
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
As a Solution Sales Manager (f/m/d), you will lead, drive, manage, coach and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives while consistently achieving targeted revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Develop your team into an outstanding, high-performing unit through hands-on coaching, identifying development opportunities, and driving sales excellence
2. Revenue Excellence: Manage the sales pipeline proactively using MEDDIC methodology, ensuring forecast accuracy and driving both large 7-digit transformational deals and volume 6-digit business
3. Entrepreneurial Growth: Foster a can-do mentality and entrepreneurial mindset within your team to identify and drive standalone opportunities beyond traditional account plans
4. End-to-End Sales Management: Take ownership of the entire sales funnel in alignment with SDRs, Marketing, Solution Advisory, CSM, and Partner Managers
5. Industry Expertise: Build and leverage deep industry knowledge and networks in your assigned sector
6. Solution Advocacy: Position and champion the complete SAP BTM value proposition including LeanIX, Signavio, Tricentis, Syniti and CALM as part of the “Integrated Tool Chain”
7. Relationship Building: Establish strong customer relationships at C-level and build a thriving BTM customer community within your industry
8. Demonstration Leadership: Serve as a hands-on role model by actively participating in solution demonstrations and customer engagements
9. Cross-SAP Collaboration: Build reliable networks within SAP, particularly with Industry Account Executives and Sales Managers
10. Partner Ecosystem: Facilitate and strengthen the BTM partner ecosystem within your industry vertical
YOUR PROFILE
11. several years of successful experience in enterprise software sales with strong SAP ecosystem knowledge
12. Proven people management experience with ability to develop high-performing sales teams
13. Deep industry expertise and established network in either Public & Energy OR Discrete Manufacturing
14. Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to drive incremental revenue and standalone opportunities
15. Strong hands-on solution demonstration capabilities
16. Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology and forecast excellence
17. Broad understanding of BPM, Process Mining, Enterprise Architecture, and SAP’s Integrated Tool Chain
18. Excellent German and English language skills
19. Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany
Preferred:
20. Individual contributor sales background with track record of closing large enterprise deals
21. Experience with SAP RISE and ERP solutions
22. Proven success managing both large transformational transactions and volume business
23. Strong diplomatic and team-building skills
