At ask arno, we are solving one of the industry's most critical challenges: a massive shortage of 530,000 technicians per year and the resulting loss of institutional knowledge. By 2027, 30% of industrial technicians will be new to the job due to the wave of retirement.
Until now, on-site expertise—what we call "Field Intelligence"—has remained a black box. Our solution is a specialized AI Co-pilot that enables technicians to retrieve complex information from manuals, reports, and expert knowledge in real-time via video/voice powered by multi-modal inputs.
We are currently in the pilot phase with leading OEMs across Europe and are now looking for a complementary co-founder to co-lead our technical scaling.
Your Role: Co-Founder, Builder & Partner
We are not looking for an entrepreneurial partner. As Co-Founder and CTO, you will own the entire technological vision and its execution:

* Strategic Co-Creation: As a core member of the founding team, you will significantly shape the product strategy, technical roadmap, and organizational culture
Responsibilities (Focus: MVP & Scaling)
* AI Architecture & System Design: Architect and evolve a high-precision RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system and our proprietary Voice-to-Knowledge pipeline
* Operational Field Data & Preprocessing: Develop innovative pipelines for the ingestion and structuring of complex industrial data (unstructured docs, tables, images) to minimize hallucinations and maximize accuracy
* Multimodal Integration: Optimize speech-to-text processing and computer vision components tailored for demanding industrial environments
* Visual Guidance Systems: Evolution from text/audio-only to video-based step-by-step instructions, including segmented video retrieval and voice-controlled playback for hands-free operations
* Enterprise Integration & Security: Build interfaces to leading systems (SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.) and ensure the highest security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR)
Your Profile
* Founder’s Mindset: An analytical thinker with high self-reliance and the ambition to lead a deep-tech company from early stage to market maturity
* Data Strategy & Engineering: Deep expertise in data modeling and ETL/preprocessing. You understand that the success of industrial AI depends 90% on the quality of data preparation
* Deep Tech Expertise: Proven experience in orchestrating Large Language Models (LLMs) using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex, and working with vector databases
* Full-Stack Capability: Mastery of the backend (Python) and experience in developing high-performance, mobile-responsive web frontends (e.g., React/Next.js)
* Validated Market Potential: Ongoing pilot projects with paying OEM customers confirm our Product-Market Fit
* Technical Frontier: Pioneering work in unlocking "Field Intelligence"—a previously untapped category of industrial data
* Meaningful Impact: A direct contribution to solving the labor shortage in European industry
