The Product Manager is accountable for the development and implementation of short and long-term marketing & sales strategies for a defined product portfolio of generics and new product launches. Responsibilities include developing and implementing of effective plans in order to achieve market share, sales and profitability goals. The Product Manager is responsible for the sales forecast, list prices and monitoring health politics and collaborating within cross functional teams, including sales, tender, demand, finance, regulatory affairs, quality, PV and business development department.
Responsibilities
* Planning and management of marketing budget (sales and costs) -Achieve market share and sales targets and ensure that the marketing expenses do not exceed approved budget.
* Analysis of market-, competition and target group - Gain important information and be an expert with respect to the market and competition.
* Development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns - Implementation of marketing plans and omni-channel campaigns for focus products.
* Management of marketing activities and coordination of advertising, media and PR agencies as well as with key accounts and business partners - Ensure project success, alignment of brand positioning, messaging and overall objectives.
* Preparation of marketing training and professional guidance for the sales teams - Ensure the key messages and the correct use of marketing materials.
* Monitoring of list prices and G-BA and GKV-SV evaluation results, develop list price strategies and execute list price adjustments - Ensure a competitive list prices and anticipate changes in health politics and transfer this into the pricing, forecast and budget process.
* Provide short-term and long-term market and sales forecast by analysis and interpretation of primary and secondary market data. Maintain a dashboard for tracking performance of defined product and report opportunities and risks associated with the forecast - Deliver accurate forecast data for the finance and supply chain department.
* Creation of business cases incl. scenario analysis, evaluation of BD&L projects and update the long run plan (LRP) - Provide the basis of decision-making with respect to portfolio building and corporate strategy.
