Job Overview
Responsible for comprehensive management of vehicle projects in the European market, ensuring smooth project progression according to schedule, quality, and cost targets, enhancing Chery's product competitiveness in the European market. Must possess excellent multi-project management capabilities and stress resistance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for building vehicle project management capabilities for EU projects
2. Provide comprehensive guidance and advancement for Jetour EU vehicle project development, including: Project planning and management, Product positioning and target setting, Development process optimization, Benchmarking suggestions and competitive analysis, Test drive arrangements, Node acceptance and milestone management, After-sales issue troubleshooting and handling
3. Communicate and align various development units, and manage development plans and timelines: Cross-department coordination and communication, Development plan monitoring and adjustment, Regular status reporting, Risk management and mitigation
4. Maintain timely communication with domestic project teams, providing development suggestions, feedback, and improvements: Experience accumulation and knowledge retention, Issue feedback and improvement recommendations
5. Drive user insights, research cutting-edge technology trends, and lead efforts to enhance product competitiveness
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements
* Experience in vehicle project management or development for the European market
* Experience managing or being responsible for development units:
* At least one of the following: Body, Interior/Exterior, Chassis, or Powertrain systems
* Experience in Regulations, Testing, Intelligent Driving, or Intelligent Cockpit is a plus
* If none of the above, experience as a Project Technical Manager or Integration Manager is required
* Excellent English speaking skills
* German and Chinese are considered a plus
* Engineering vehicle driving capability, with the ability to conduct subjective evaluation benchmarking and acceptance
* Ability to support coordination with multiple domestic project teams and work under pressure:
* Capable of handling coordination across multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong prioritization and time management skills

* Familiar with EU automotive regulations and certification requirements

Education Background
* Bachelor’s degree or above in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related fields
* PMP or similar project management certification is preferred
* Willingness to travel to China for short-term assignments (no more than one month per trip)
