In this role, you will act as a key liaison between engineering and procurement. Your tasks
8. Requirements management: Determining and compiling requirements (components, materials, machines, tools) in close coordination with the specialist departments.
9. Technical clarification: Review of technical specifications and quality requirements directly based on drawings, bills of materials (BOM) and documentation to prepare precise requests for quotation.
10. Purchasing & Negotiation: Initiation of the operational procurement process as well as confident execution of purchasing negotiations and contract conclusions.
11. Supplier management: Identification, selection, qualification and ongoing evaluation of suppliers – always in close cooperation with the quality department.
12. Controlling & Optimization: Conducting price analyses, creating reports, and proactively developing existing procurement processes.
13. Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with all quality, environmental and compliance requirements in purchasing.
Your profile
14. Qualification: Completed commercial or technical vocational training with further specialist training in purchasing OR a completed degree with a focus on procurement management/supply chain.
15. Experience: Relevant professional experience in technical purchasing, preferably in the automotive sector or in industrial plant/machine engineering.
16. Technical expertise: Highly developed technical understanding as well as in-depth knowledge of modern procurement processes and supply chain management.
17. IT skills: Excellent MS Office skills. Ideally, you already have good experience with ERP systems (especially SAP S/4HANA ).
18. Languages: Fluent English, both spoken and written, is essential for international supplier contact.
19. Soft skills: They are characterized by analytical strength, a structured way of working, high reliability, and strong negotiation and communication skills.
