A globally established manufacturer of specialist marine equipment is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead growth in Germany across commercial, government, and defence marine sectors.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role suited to someone with strong sector knowledge and a passion for innovative marine technologies.
With new autonomous capabilities entering the market and a global sales team to support, this role sits at the heart of a fast-moving, high-impact business.
Role
You will be responsible for building and developing sales in the German market as well as supporting global teams with training, demonstrations, and product education.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role, requiring a blend of commercial acumen, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills.
You will support the rollout of new technologies, including upcoming autonomous solutions.
Profile
Strong experience in marine sales, ideally within defence, rescue, or commercial marine sectors.
Comfortable in a technical sales environment, with the ability to lead product demos.
Credible with public authorities and end-users (e.g., emergency services, military, shipbuilders).
Hands-on and commercially driven, with the initiative to grow a niche product line.
Excited by innovation and keen to be part of a growing, acquisitive business.
Fluent in German and English.
