Responsibilities:

* Oversight of facility maintenance and operation
* Management of facility budgets, including forecasting and cost control
* Coordination and supervision of vendors and contractors for facility services
* Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs
* Ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
* Leadership of facility-related projects, including renovations, relocations, and space planning
* Monitoring and management of energy usage and sustainability initiatives
* Effective management of suppliers and sourcing processes

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management:

* Development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE policies and procedures
* Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits
* Ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international HSE regulations
* Coordination of HSE training programs
* Investigation of accidents and incidents, and implementation of measures to prevent recurrence
* Maintenance of accurate records of HSE-related incidents, inspections, and training
* Promotion of a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization

Requirements:

* Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facility management, including multi-site responsibility
* Proven experience in HSE management and compliance
* Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance management, and operational efficiency
* Excellent project management and organizational skills
* Ability to manage budgets and optimize costs
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Proficiency in facility management software and tools
* Fluency in English and German is required; additional European languages are a plus
* Relevant certifications in facility management are highly desirable
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
* Attention to detail and proactive approach
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
