We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship at SW configuration management. We develop the software that is used to configure all BMW in-vehicle software. Our software is applied millions of times a year at BMW production, dealerships and for remote software upgrade.
What awaits you?
1. You develop tests for GUI-based end-to-end testing of our central software tool.
2. In this role, you analyze test specifications and decide on the architecture of the test to be written.
3. You write reusable procedures and modules for other tests.
4. Additionally, you write tests to be incorporated into our CI-system using existing procedures and your own code.
5. Furthermore, you support the project manager of the end-to-end testing project, gaining exceptional insights into software configuration management.
What should you bring along?
6. Studies in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a similar course of studies.
7. Good German and excellent English skills.
8. Proven programming skills in scripting and compiled languages such as Python, Groovy, or Java.
9. Experience in writing tests is a big plus.
10. Experience in software architecture is highly appreciated.
