Junior category manager - bakery

We’re now looking for a Junior Category Manager – Bakery who will support the growth and performance of this important category. Someone who enjoys working with data, suppliers and day-to-day commercial operations, and who wants to grow into a stronger category role over time.
You’ll have a direct impact on one of the most visible and sensitive categories in food retail.
You’ll work in an environment where decisions are made quickly and based on data, not hierarchy.
You’ll see the impact of your work on sales, margin and customer satisfaction.
Support the commercial performance of the Bakery category
Work closely with bakery suppliers and support category reviews and commercial negotiations
Help manage assortment, pricing and promotions across the category
Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain to support campaigns and stock availability
Support the introduction of new products and seasonal ranges
Work with data, reports and analysis to support better commercial decisions
At least 1+ year of experience in category management, buying, sales support, trade marketing or a similar commercial role
Experience in Bakery, Food retail, FMCG or fresh categories is a strong advantage
Strong interest in working with data, Excel and AI tools in daily practice
Advanced German and advanced English (written and spoken)
