OVERALL FUNCTION: The Sales Manager Germany, North/East reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for expanding, maintaining, and further developing Meyer Sound’s dealer and consultant network in the North and East Germany region. The objective of the position is to drive sustainable revenue growth, establish new customer relationships, and develop strategic partnerships to achieve Meyer Sound’s overall sales goals in the region. This is a permanent full-time position. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages, grows and builds Meyer Sound’s sales, accounts and partnerships with dealers and consultants. Collaborates with a variety of internal teams to establish overall sales strategy and prioritization for potential business, defining key criteria and actively seeking out opportunities to drive growth Works with the Managing Director to establish sales goals. Maintains existing relationships, identifies new relationships and opportunities, develops proposals, forges partnerships and ultimately drives projects and contract negotiations through to execute sales Identifies needs and challenges and ensures those needs are met. Knowledge of customer’s needs, and coordination of support with both internal and external resources. Provides regular updates to the Managing Director, the sales team, and other departments as necessary. Provides detailed reports and presentations on progress and status of activities. Supports sales and marketing activities by attending tradeshows, networking events, demos, promotional events and similar events. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Several years of prior professional audio experience. Ideally strong knowledge of products, technologies and clients of professional audio technologies. Excellent business negotiation, sales and account management skills, including strong communication, presentation and organization skills. Prior experience with sales and proposal planning, technical sales and contract negotiation. The ability to work independently and in a team environment. Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The ability to travel up to 80 percent of the time.
