Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wind Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee the technical aspects of floating offshore wind projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical feasibility, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing project risks while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Also will be the technical interface with the customer for all the wind turbine and associated scope of supply. The Technical Project Manager will work in conjunction with other MYSE technical support team members and the technical departments of the parent company, to ensure a successful delivery of the different wind turbine and related solutions in the contracted windfarm projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical management of wind turbine interfaces and project adaptations for floating offshore wind projects, ensuring efficient design, engineering, and execution.
* Oversee the coordination of technical disciplines in the scope of delivery of the wind turbine and its interfaces, including foundations interfaces, Integrated Load Analysis, electrical systems, marine operations, transport and installation, port and commissioning activities.
* Lead the customer interaction in terms of technical project management in relation the wind turbine and associated scope of supply
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., DNV, IEC, ISO) and regulatory requirements.
* Manage project schedules, development of wind turbine technical customisations for the project and technical risk assessments to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
* Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and resource assessments.
* Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders to optimize technical solutions and ensure timely and quality delivery to the project.
* Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project development and execution phases.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in onshore and offshore wind project design and implementation.
* Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and technical specifications.
* Support bid preparation, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related discipline).
* Communication and reporting skills.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore wind project management and technical coordination. Preferably in floating offshore projects
* Strong understanding of floating offshore wind design, construction, and operational processes.
* Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of relevant offshore wind turbines architecture and design.
* Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with floating offshore wind industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
* Experience with marine operations and logistics is a plus.
