Your new job includes
As Head of Strategic Buying (m/f/d) Beauty, you will be responsible for the overall product group strategy and implement the strategic objectives for purchasing in terms of product range and price. In particular, you will
* take over the disciplinary and professional management of a team of currently 6 employees and be responsible for personnel planning, management and development
* support the Director Purchasing in developing the strategy and targets for the Beauty purchasing division
* develop and implement recommendations for action for all internal departments you are in contact with
* ensure the implementation of product range and price targets within the Beauty purchasing division
* support cross-divisional projects, such as tenders, or manage your own projects in order to implement the measures from the corporate strategy objectives
* liaise closely with your cross-product and internal interfaces in order to contribute your expertise in the beauty category across departments
Preferred Profile
* A degree in economics as well as management and leadership experience in purchasing at international retail companies
* Experience in the management and control of projects
* Enjoying the visionary thinking of the product group and an affinity for the beauty range, which you will further develop in a future-oriented manner based on your excellent market and brand knowledge
* High social and intercultural competence as well as negotiating experience at international level
* Business fluent in English and the ability to communicate in a motivating, open and clear manner
* A strategic, structured way of thinking and working paired with a hands-on mentality and motivating leadership skills
