SVP Industrial Automation Innovation & Technology CTO
The SVP Industrial Automation Innovation & Technology / CTO will help Schneider Electric optimize technology and product roadmaps across our diverse and complex Industrial Automation division.
To succeed, this individual needs extensive experience in rapidly growing organizations with complex products and markets, and must drive the organization to embrace change and product complexity.
Roles & Qualifications
* Blend deep technical expertise in hardware, software, and integrated platforms with strategic leadership to manage operations and customer-facing products.
* Lead an organization ahead of technological trends, driving transformation.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business functions.
* Harness organizational power through process discipline, mature frameworks, and inspirational leadership to foster collaboration.
* Understand industrial domains to develop solutions for a broad range of customers.
* Lead software engineering and architecture to develop scalable, secure, and robust platforms, including IoT, cloud, edge computing, control software, and more.
* Define strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.
* Cultivate strategic partnerships with vendors and research entities.
* Oversee development lifecycles, ensuring agile practices.
* Assess and influence product development to meet customer needs.
* Recruit, motivate, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of innovation and transformation.
* Ensure cybersecurity practices are integrated into all products and systems.
* Manage technological risks and ensure compliance with standards like ISO, GDPR, NIST.
* Balance investments, manage costs, and prioritize innovations aligned with financial goals.
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to all stakeholders.
* Align internal and external stakeholders with the company's technology vision.
