IT Product Manager (m/f/d) Location: Cologne Employer: Rheinische Versorgungskassen Compensation: A12 LBesO NRW / E11 TVöD Work Schedule: Full-time or Part-time Permanent Position Start Date: As soon as possible Application Deadline: April 9, 2026 Your Responsibilities As an internal service provider, the "IT" division of Rheinische Versorgungskassen (RVK) supports the specialized business units in delivering cost-effective and efficient services across RVK’s various business areas by providing consulting on the selection, implementation, and operation of suitable IT solutions. You will work in a team of seven, where collegial cooperation and regular communication are very important to us. We take the time to thoroughly train you. Your future responsibilities will include, in particular, the design and development of new systems as well as the further development of existing specialized systems for the "Supplementary Benefits" business unit: Analysis of IT solution-specific requirements from the business units Design and support of systems for, among other things, data exchange and processing with the Pension Insurance Data Center (DSRV), health insurance funds, and the Central Allowance Office for Retirement Assets (ZfA) the preparation of documentation employer reporting procedures Management of external service providers, including monitoring software deliveries and release planning Supporting the decentralized IT department in implementing test strategies and in day-to-day operations Fault analysis in second-level support If you enjoy contributing to the development of RVK’s IT infrastructure, we look forward to receiving your application! What You Bring to the Table A bachelor’s degree or a university of applied sciences diploma in Computer Science Mathematics Electrical and Information Technology or As civil servants with the above-mentioned degrees, you must have the career qualification for the technical service (career group 2, entry-level position 1) or Other employees who can demonstrate equivalent skills and experience based on many years of professional experience What else matters to us You have comprehensive knowledge of the organization of IT-supported business processes.
