Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for selecting the best brands and products for designated categories.
• Implement the strategies that were crafted by team. Our customer user base is ever expanding and ensure we offer them the best shopping experience.
• Lead the full implementation cycle for new brands and products, managing all stages from initial sourcing, vendor negotiations, product selection and/or expansion to launch, and overseeing ongoing sales, inventory, and pricing & promotion strategy.
• Build a better Category storefront
• Enhance the current storefront by optimizing sub-categories on product and/or brand level.
• Work collaboratively across departments to optimize brand, category pages, product listings, and search functionalities, ensuring seamless navigation and enhanced product discovery.
• Collaborate with suppliers and the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, maximizing their impact on sales and customer engagement.
• Continuously monitor and optimize category-specific metrics, including conversion rates, margin and user traffic, leveraging data-driven insights to foster ongoing improvement efforts.
• Examine customer feedback, behavior, and preferences within the category to pinpoint areas for improvement and opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor-level education or equivalent intellectual capacity.
• 8+ years of experience in retail merchandising as a category manager or commercial marketing, with preferred experience in the e-commerce industry.
• Experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and driving category growth.
• Experience using Excel and Business Intelligence.
• Proficient in English
