The Project Manager – Retail Strategy & Experience thrives in a highly dynamic and complex environment and brings a structured but pragmatic, hands-on mentality to translating strategy into real outcomes. The role combines customer enablement (onboarding partnerships, launching solutions, enabling retail channels) with strategic roadmap execution (driving customer-focused, omnichannel and continuous-improvement initiatives across the retail ecosystem).
Your role
1. Drive ZEISS Extended Reality’s retail strategy with key partners and markets by executing initiatives focused on online optical retail, omnichannel experience, insights, and continuous improvement.
2. Map andoptimizeend-to-end customer journeys across online and in-store channels to enhance experience and boost conversion.
3. Manage the full onboarding process of new customers and partners, ensuring smooth setup and stable multi-channel operations.
4. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage timelines and risks, and align leadership, IT, local markets, and external partners to ensure project success.
5. Establish KPIs and feedback loops to analyze results,identifyimprovements, and standardize best practices for continuous improvement across markets.
6. Lead pilots, store visits, and interviews to gather insights on customer and partner behavior, synthesizing findings to inform strategy and roadmap priorities.

10. Solidunderstandingofretailoperationsandcustomerjourneys,ideallyinoptical,healthcare,orpremiumconsumerretail,withfamiliarityinomnichannelconceptsintegratingdigital andphysicaltouchpoints.
11. Abilitytotranslatestrategicdirectionsintoactionableworkstreams,pilots, and initiatives,supportedbydata-drivencontinuousimprovementusingKPIs and qualitativefeedback.
12. Excellentcommunication,facilitation,negotiation, andstakeholdermanagementskills,comfortableengagingbothexternalpartnersandseniorinternalstakeholders,withahands-on,results-orientedapproach.
