To ensure we meet our high standards every day, we look forward to your expertise in the Procurement Management Division – Operational Procurement Management. Here, we handle the centralized procurement and provision of capital goods, medical and non-medical consumables, services, etc. – ideally with you!RESPONSIBILITIES
* Further development and implementation of a procurement strategy with a primary focus on the Information Technology (IT) product group, taking into account corporate goals and budget requirements
* Identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimizing procurement processes in strategic IT purchasing
* Selecting, evaluating, and developing suppliers, as well as negotiating contracts, terms, and framework agreements in the IT environment
* Ensuring compliance with compliance guidelines, procurement regulations, and quality standards in the procurement of IT goods and services
* Monitoring and analyzing market and technology trends to support strategic procurement decisions
* Supporting EU-wide procurement procedures in collaboration with our procurement management team
* Establishing and further developing a centralized license management system for software and IT licenses
* Managing and optimizing the entire license lifecycle (demand planning, procurement, usage, and renewal) as well as ensuring license compliance, including preparing for and supporting vendor audits
* Analysis and optimization of existing licensing models and contract structures, as well as use of software asset management tools (e.g., Snow) to ensure transparency regarding license inventories and usage
* Collaboration within a strong team of strategic procurement managers, enabling support in additional product categories within the areas of capital goods, industrial engineering, and foodstuffs when needed
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, IT Management, or a comparable qualification
* Relevant professional experience in software and license management, ideally in the context of large IT environments
* Experience in strategic procurement of IT hardware, software, and IT services is a plus
* Experience with software asset management tools (e.g., Snow) is a plus
* Ideally, in-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law
* Analytical skills and a good understanding of technical and licensing issues in the IT environment
* Experience in professional stakeholder management, particularly in the IT sector, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
* Proficiency in electronic data processing (good knowledge of MS Office and, ideally, SAP MM)
