Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and user-focused Product Content Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support our platform-based software products (not hardware) by driving high-quality user-facing content, ensuring local language accuracy, and enhancing the overall product experience. You will work closely with UX/UI teams, product managers, local market teams, and translators to create and maintain clear, engaging, and localized content. You will also conduct competitor research to keep our product content and communication ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain user-facing content for software products (e.g., apps, portals, dashboards, monitoring platforms).
* Collaborate with UX/UI and product teams to ensure content enhances the overall user experience.
* Own the translation and localization review process for key markets (focus on accuracy, tone, and usability).
* Coordinate with external translators and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
* Conduct competitive research and benchmarking to inform content strategy and identify industry best practices.
* Develop and maintain content guidelines, glossaries, and tone-of-voice documentation.
* Ensure consistency and clarity in UI text, tooltips, in-app messages, help documentation, and onboarding flows.
* Work with cross-functional teams across product, design, support, and marketing.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, UX Writing, Linguistics, Product Management, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in product content management, UX writing, localization, or a similar role—preferably in tech, SaaS, or renewable energy sectors.
* Experience working on software platforms or digital products (not hardware).
* Strong understanding of user experience design principles and how content impacts usability.
* Native or fluent proficiency in at least one local language (Mandarin, German, Spanish, etc.), with excellent English communication skills.
* Experience with translation management tools (e.g., Crowdin, Lokalise) is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
