You will work with the Biotechnology team and help them scale up our current process. If you would like to get hands-on experience in fermentation on a process from start to end and work in lab and pilot scale environment.

Your Role
* Maintain the workflow pipeline for the production process
* Perform basic laboratory procedures, including sample preparation, and prepare media and reagents for upstream fermentations in a production environment
* Support downstream processing methods and assist in setting up and maintaining pilot equipment and processes
* Assist with experimental setup, execution, data collection, and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation
* Monitor and record data during experiments, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, process protocols, and batch records
* Write and update SOPs for processes and equipment where applicable.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area
* Handle moderately heavy equipment, lift materials, and process products as needed.
* Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of equipment
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the optimal performance of equipment
Your Profile
* Currently pursuing a Master in or related to Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioprocessing Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology or Life science
* Experience working with microorganisms and following GLP and aseptic techniques
* Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment such as Microbiology Safety Cabinet, Centrifuge, Dead end filters, Benchtop fermenters, etc.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required
* Experience in pilot or manufacturing environments is a plus
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting objects of 10-15 kg when necessary.
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written
* Must be able to work effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and collaborate on interdisciplinary fermentation-related projects
* Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
