Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner (all genders) to join our Product Management team to further improve our enterprise-focused remote connectivity product Tensor and to own further product initiatives. The position will report to the vice President Product Management and provides excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment. 1. Take over the role of a Senior Product Owner inside an agile Scrum team(s) to lead and champion product initiatives from requirements gathering, until releasing them by supporting Product Managers
2. Be a visionary driving force, understand customer challenges, translate customer needs into cutting-edge product innovations while define, track and analyze relevant key product indicators (KPIs)
3. Work closely with UI/UX designers, engineers and QA teams to ensure quality standards that make customers satisfied and excited
4. Gather requirements from Product Management and other stakeholders and own the conversion of these requirements into user stories and other supporting documentation
5. Ensure that the development team members understand the why-s, the goals of the product initiatives, and support them on coming up with the how-s
6. Support and advance the technical feasibility and intuitive usage of the planned functions making our customers excited about them
7. Thrive in our innovation rich culture by using open communication, having a healthy dose of curiosity while encouraging others to ask questions and explore the unexplored
Requirements
8. A university or college degree in the field of Computer Science, Business Informatics or Information Technology, or similar subject is required
9. At least 5 years of proven work experience in the following areas: product management, software development or quality assurance
10. Strategic mindset, capable of aligning initiatives with the overarching product vision and strategy
11. Leading by example, demonstrating exceptional communication and relationship-building skills within cross-functional working environment
12. Ability to advise all key stakeholders successfully by making recommendations on commercial and technical factors
13. Solution-oriented and have flexible way of working with ability to respond effectively to shifting priorities, demands and timelines by using analytical and problem-solving skills
14. Curious attitude, questioning the status quo, pushing boundaries, and seeking innovation
15. Coaching and guiding colleagues with techniques for Prioritization, Estimation, Requirements Engineering
16. Strong technical understanding and previous coding experience are a plus
17. Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German is a plus
