Location & Compensation Starting date: As soon as possible Annual salary: €90,000 – €100,000 (fixed range, gross) Equity: €40,000 – €80,000 in company shares Benefits: up to €5,000 annually Work model: Full‑time, Hybrid (Munich, Germany) Your Role As a Staff Product Manager, you translate internal customer & business needs into the product vision and strategy for our Data Platform. You own accountability for its success, empowering internal customers to generate value from data swiftly and with confidence. You lead product definition and delivery of the next generation of our platform, enabling rapid development, analytics, and innovation. You Work Closely With Product teams at Orbem Business Intelligence & Analytics teams Domain Data Owners Data Platform Engineering, Machine Learning Platform, and other Orbem Platform teams Technical Program Management, Security, Compliance, and IT teams Your Day to Day Analyze product KPIs, user feedback and business impact to monitor performance and inform priorities. Communicate, collaborate and align with internal customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities, clarify priorities, and agree on the roadmap. Align with the Data Platform Engineering team to ensure shared understanding of the "what" and the "why" of your work. Lead strategic planning and decision‑making. Experiences and Skills Experience product managing internal Data Platforms (or a similar kind of platform) with a track record of defining and aligning on a long‑term vision. Strong understanding of Data Engineering (e.g., Data Mesh), Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing concepts. Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, product and non‑technical stakeholders. Leadership by influence: take ownership of outcomes, secure buy‑in and drive execution. Deep understanding of data protection and regulatory compliance in a medical context (desirable). Hands‑on data engineering or related experience (desirable). Experience building data platforms for rapidly scaled companies that combine hardware and software (desirable).
