Role overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) Operations to join our team with a focus on operations-related strategic initiatives. This role is temporarily embedded in the Transformation Management Office (TMO) and will transition into the Operations Excellence organization once it is fully set up. You will lead and support cross-functional projects that drive operational strategy, implement excellence initiatives, and contribute to overarching expectations projects. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Management Team and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, manage, and execute cross-functional projects with a focus on operations strategy and excellence initiatives
2. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource needs
3. Lead project teams and facilitate collaboration within the Operations department
4. Monitor project progress, risks, and budgets; report status to stakeholders and management
5. Manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and handle issues proactively
6. Coordinate stakeholder communication and alignment
7. Drive lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
8. Support project portfolio overview and governance
Qualifications:
9. Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
10. 2–3 years in project management, preferably in MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated industries
11. Work experience in operations and/or supply chain is strongly preferred
12. Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
13. Strong organizational and communication skills; experience with project management tools
14. Proactive, structured, problem-solving mindset with strong stakeholder management abilities
15. Fluent in German and English
