Build Europe’s most compliant, scalable, and sovereign UAV platform, and do it faster than anyone else. Backed by €10M in funding and a core team of ten engineers, they’ve already partnered with a market-leading automotive OEM to bring their first drone from prototype to production. We’re now seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead their industrialisation projects across UAV subsystems, from concept through to series production. Why this role and moment matter: Europe is entering a once-in-a-generation expansion of its defence industrial base. Germany alone has committed €100 billion in new defence spending, much of it focused on UAV and autonomy capability, while EU-wide programmes like EDF and PESCO are fuelling record investment in local defence manufacturing. The mission is to industrialise UAV systems at European scale, rapidly, compliantly, and without reliance on non-EU suppliers. Across Europe, defence is evolving faster than at any point in the past 30 years. Germany, the UK, and France are shifting from traditional primes to agile, tech-led start-ups capable of rapid delivery. UAV spending is rising exponentially as European nations seek locally built, that meet compliance and supply chain sovereignty goals. Role: Technical Project Manager Type: Permanent Location: Munich (Hybrid, 4 days onsite) Your mission: Take ownership of the Ground Control Station project from design to serial production. Define requirements, manage suppliers, and deliver industrial readiness within 9 months. Drive lifecycle ownership across multiple projects, concept, prototyping, validation, and production. Oversee collaboration with the battery and RF systems partners. Lead projects that bridge R&D and large-scale manufacturability. You’ll bring: 4 years in R&D-heavy environments (Robotics, Defence, or Complex Electronics). Strong foundation in DFM/DFA and lifecycle management. Ability to lead partners across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. Pragmatism and the mindset to “decide fast and build faster”. MUST be EU or GB Citizen.
