You will make an impact in the following way:
* Responsibility for the strategic development and management of electronic commodity groups within our global procurement organization
* Establishment, maintenance, and continuous development of a high-performing international supplier network in close coordination with local purchasing organizations
* Development and implementation of global commodity strategies to ensure quality, cost efficiency, innovation, and security of supply
* Independent conduct of negotiations and conclusion of contracts with international suppliers
* Analysis of global markets, technologies, and price developments, and derivation and execution of strategic actions
* Active involvement in risk and crisis management processes (e.g., supply shortages, obsolescence, geopolitical influences)
* Close collaboration with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to integrate procurement strategies into projects at an early stage
* Initiation and implementation of cost-reduction initiatives, value analyses, and supplier development programs
What you will bring:
* Education – Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study
* Experience – 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement in the electronics or electromechanical sector
* Knowledge & Skills – In-depth knowledge of supplier management, contract management, and international procurement markets; experience handling complex global supply chains as well as risk and crisis management processes; confident use of MS Office and SAP
* Personality – Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a high level of initiative and decision-making ability; communicative personality with intercultural competence and enthusiasm for working in global teams
* Language Skills – Fluent in English and German
