The General Project Manager leads end-to-end governance, structure, and delivery of complex cross-functional projects, e.g. product launches or global product roll-outs. The role ensures alignment and delivery across all workstreams (e.g. technical, regulatory, commercial, retail, supply chain, IT, etc.) It provides overall accountability for scope, timeline, budget, risk management, and executive transparency. The position acts as the single point of project leadership and escalation.
Lead overall project governance and delivery
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones
Derive and maintain integrated project plans across all functions
Drive structured risk and issue management
Coordinate all relevant functions for a project
Act as a primary contact for executive stakeholders regarding project status and provide fast-based decision proposals if needed
Maintain clear documentation of project decisions and changes
Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
Coordinate product & solution generation process with all relevant documentation and milestone compliance
Prepare and lead Project Gate Meetings
Monitor adherence to quality and regulatory requirements by all project workstreams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field. Project management or agile certification is an advantage.
~3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally within a medically regulated or high-tech manufacturing environment and of medical device development processes
~ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
~ Hands-on mentality as well as strong result and solution orientation
~ Fluent in English; German/Chinese language skills are an advantage
~ Regular international travelling of up to 20% of working time required
