Key responsibilities
In this role, you will represent our ABB, Busch-Jaeger and Striebel & John brands. You will be responsible for the order intake/sales budget while adhering to price targets. This includes the organization and planning of measures to increase incoming orders and sales with new customers as well as the introduction of new products and systems in low-voltage technology. In a future-proof industry, you are no stranger to topics such as machine regulations, sustainability and energy management.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in the gerater area of Berlin. Main stakeholders are our external customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Acquiring customers (OEM / mechanical engineering / electrical wholesale industry industry) for ABB and building or maintaining an intensive customer relationship.
* Developing and ensuring an individual, solution- and value-oriented cooperation between ABB and customers.
* Commercial negotiations and agreements in the cooperation at decision maker level with focus on growth for the customer and ABB.
* Development of the customer target group in the technical and marketing competence of our product and system solutions.
* Ensuring customer use of ABB software tools/configurators.
* Maintaining contact with direct purchasing customers, determining requirements, implementing technical requirements, technical expertise in the relevant product range.
* Preparation of calculations, offers or shopping baskets, offer tracking, price negotiations and contract preparation (e.g. condition management, framework agreements and NDAs).
* Maximizing the stock potential of the electrical wholesale industry and implementing the partner program.

Qualifications for the role
* Completed master as electrician, electrical engineer or bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in the sale of technical products and systems.
* Experience in expanding existing customer networks.
* Knowledge of the OEM market and the electrical wholesale industry market.
* Fluency in German.
* Willingness to travel for customer appointments.
