Position Overview Tencent Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager who will be based in Frankfurt. The chosen candidate will be tasked with creating and handling Tencent Cloud's most significant and strategic digital native and MNC accounts in the DACH region. Through a strategic approach, this individual will establish sales priorities and action plans, deliver and surpass cloud sales goals, and cultivate valuable relationships with key stakeholders of target accounts in the DACH region. This role will play a crucial role in driving Cloud revenue growth, attracting new large strategic accounts (Automotive/Mechanical/Pharmaceuticals/Retail/Media), and negotiating and managing large contracts. Job Responsibilities Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution‑based sales opportunities Develop and manage high‑value relationships with key stakeholders Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on large digital native accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral Partner with the Legal, FIN, and Tax teams on contract negotiations Achieve or exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth, and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential Prepare and execute strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting, and quota attainment Be an expert on Tencent’s cloud digital native offerings, working to understand customers’ needs and providing service solutions Develop strategic plans based on industry trends and customer analysis Be accountable and instrumental in increasing high‑profile cloud platform contracts Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers gain high value from their investments Manage the sales life‑cycle for all accounts Job Requirements 10+ years B2B sales experience in the technology/Internet/digital sector Experience selling at C‑level Exhibits a “hunter” mentality and possesses an outstanding ability to close sales Proven record and strong capability to generate leads, pursue opportunities, and sell Outstanding presentation and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with customers and staff at all levels Ability to solve customer‑related problems in a positive manner Strong in consultative and insight‑based selling Experience articulating complex solutions to decision‑makers and executives Proven ability to grow revenue and manage accounts Experience analyzing data, trends, and the market to develop key selling points Experience with Automotive or E‑commerce is a plus English and German at B2 level; native proficiency Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus Goal‑oriented Highly motivated self‑starter Will/drive to consistently exceed quarterly sales quotas Critical thinking and proactive approach Track record of sales success with high‑profile accounts Strong relationship‑building and account‑management skills Problem solver/issue resolution expertise Skilled negotiator Adaptable/flexible Equal Employment Opportunity at Tencent As an equal‑opportunity employer, we firmly believe that diverse voices fuel our innovation and allow us to better serve our users and the community.
