To support the growth of offshore wind and HVDC interconnector projects, Siemens Energy is seeking Building Services Coordinators/Project Managers to join our successful High Voltage Grids business. We welcome passionate individuals who are ready to be part of the future of renewable energy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Complete projects and work packages within defined requirements, including safety, quality, time, functionality, and cost.
2. Coordinate designs, specifications, and subcontractor installation and commissioning for various systems, including hot and cold-water, lighting, electrical distribution, HVAC, telecommunications, security, fire systems, and lifts.
3. Manage procurement and oversight of subcontractors from design through delivery and handover.
4. Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Handle contract administration for NEC3/4, FIDIC, or customized contracts, and handle subcontract documentation in partnership with project collaborators.
6. Chair technical and progress meetings, ensuring consistent design documentation flow and supporting the implementation of new ideas and innovations in construction technology and materials.
What You Bring
7. Experience in the UK Construction, Process, and/or Industrial sectors.
8. Strong understanding of building services installation and relevant regulations.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills for conveying sophisticated technical and commercial issues.
10. Proactive demeanor with a willingness to work flexibly in both office and on-site environments.
11. Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering, including 18th edition electrical installations and familiarity with BSRIA BG 6.
12. Membership in CIBSE/IET or working towards it, along with good IT literacy, particularly in MS Office 365 solutions.
