About Job: Manage the procurement of various parts, tactical materials, and services with optimized pricing, delivery, and terms, staying within budget. Responsible as European category manager for assigned categories Accomplish all administrative activities according to the standard procedures and programs to ensure a transparent, reliable and up-to-date purchase-administration. Identifies potential suppliers and issues requests for quotations. Conduct reverse auctions and analyze supplier offers. Issue and follow up on purchase orders; expedite as needed. Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, delivery speed, payment terms, and other key factors. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable and high-quality service and goods. Monitors market trends and conditions. Act as SAP Function Administrator for the Materials Management (MM) module, including procurement and vendor master data. Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate documentation of orders, amendments, and shipping notices. Enter standard and framework purchase orders in SAP. Manage assigned procurement categories, including vendor management, supplier audits, and strategic sourcing alignment across sites. About you: Completed minumum Associate Degree or equivalent education. Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or related role within a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of procurement processes and vendor management. Quick comprehension, flexibility, and strong communication skills. Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with SAP R/3, especially the Materials Management (MM) module, is highly desirable.
