Our client is a global Tier 1 in the manufacturing industry and is looking for a PC&L Manager for one of his plants located in Rhineland-Palatinate area.
Main responsabilities:
Logistics & Material Flow Management
Organize, monitor, and optimize the flow of raw materials, in-process inventory, and finished goods from supplier receipt to customer delivery.
Supervise warehousing, order preparation, shipping, and receiving activities.
Production Planning & Control
Develop and adjust production schedules in accordance with customer requirements, plant capacity, and resource availability.
Coordinate between production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure on-time component availability and minimal disruptions.
Supplier & Customer Interface
Serve as the point of contact between the plant, suppliers, and customers for supply chain and delivery matters.
Anticipate and resolve issues related to delivery performance, shortages, or inventory excess.
Team Management
Lead and develop production control and logistics teams (planners, schedulers, warehouse staff, etc.).
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and skills development.
Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring
Implement lean logistics initiatives (such as Kanban, pull flow, warehouse optimization) and drive process improvements.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs): inventory levels, delivery service rate, logistics costs, and stock accuracy.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to corporate and sector-specific PC & L (Production Control & Logistics) policies.
Enforce compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations throughout logistics operations.
Profile required
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Significant experience in automotive industry with strong expertise in ERP systems and material flow management.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to set priorities and anticipate risks.
Team leadership and the ability to support and drive change.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Fluency in English and B2 german minimum
