About Us
We are an international e-commerce company operating in 13 countries with a Magento 2 webshop. We are looking for an experienced Senior CRO Expert with Project Management skills to develop and implement a new, standardized CRO & UX framework from scratch.
This is a freelance/part-time role (remote, 2–3 days per week), ideal for someone who enjoys building structured optimization processes and taking ownership of CRO & UX strategy.
Your Role
You will own the entire CRO & UX optimization process, from defining the strategy to executing A/B tests and working with designers and analysts. There is currently no UX designer or junior CRO analyst, so part of your role will be to assess the resource needs and coordinate external freelancers as required .
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Develop a structured, scalable CRO & UX framework for all 13 countries
🔹 Independently set up and execute A/B tests (Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, or similar)
🔹 Conduct funnel analysis and identify opportunities for data-driven conversion rate optimization
🔹 Analyze user behavior with Hotjar & Google Analytics to drive UX improvements
🔹 Manage the entire CRO project in Asana – setting up workflows, prioritizing tasks, and tracking progress
🔹 Assess UX & CRO resource needs and propose additional freelance support (UX designers, junior CRO analysts)
🔹 If required, recruit and manage external UX freelancers & junior CRO analysts
🔹 Document processes and best practices for long-term standardization
What We’re Looking For
✅ 5+ years of experience in CRO & A/B testing with a strong e-commerce focus
✅ Proven experience in building and implementing CRO & UX frameworks from scratch
✅ Hands-on experience with Hotjar, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, or similar tools
✅ Project management experience in Asana – setting up and managing CRO workflows
✅ Ability to assess, recruit, and manage UX & CRO freelancers
✅ Based in Europe (must be in a European time zone)
💡 Nice-to-have :
➕ Experience with tracking & tagging (Google Tag Manager, Data Layer)
➕ Knowledge of multi-language & multi-country e-commerce optimization
➕ Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for landing page optimizations
