About the Role
As an Technical Sales Manager TSM) at BMW CAM you will be responsible for ensuring long-term
commercial success and customer satisfaction for ongoing Harman programs for your customer(s). You will ensure adherence to customer expectations and work closely with your customer(s) counterpart(s) to maintain and grow the existing business with healthy commercials.
What You Will Do
1. Capture and propagate the commercial voice of customer for ongoing programs
2. Manage commercial agreements and drive customer negotiation for awarded business. This includes managing and applying price changes and applying APR.
3. You will continuously track and update Business Cases and drive BC reviews internally and keep close contact with internal controlling
4. You will manage upcoming Change requests and secure internal stakeholder actions as well as drive the commercial dialogue with the customer as well as lead them through internal approval process
5. Closely track customer satisfaction at all levels, and drive course corrections when required
6. Drive to achieve commercial targets (revenue, EBIT, Cash Flow) for your customer programs
7. Coordinate VAVE initiatives and manage commercial dialogue with the customer
8. You will schedule and drive the customer steering group meetings and secure the agenda and content
9. You will together with Sales ops secure AR status according to targets
10. Drive continuity of awarded business through program extensions and follow-on programs
11. You will continuously develop content for internal revies with SBU and senior management for the KPI sessions
12. You will together with PM handle Last time Buys that effect your customers
13. You will together with supply chain management handle supply risks and communicate with the customer
What You Need
14. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
15. 5+ years of related sales experience with at least 2 years in Automotive
16. Must have a thorough understanding of Automotive OEM’s organization and processes
17. Thorough understanding of P&L statements, business cases and quotes / contracts with automotive OEMs
18. Basic technical understanding of Automotive HW and SW systems
What is Nice to Have
19. Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management
20. Experience working with the applicable customer/OEM
