Job Title: Supply Chain Manager – Medical Technology

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize supply chain operations for our medical technology business in Southern Germany. The role will oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality medical devices while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
Collaborate closely with production, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure seamless supply of medical devices.
Lead supplier management, including selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high service levels.
Ensure regulatory compliance in all supply chain processes, including adherence to ISO 13485 and MDR requirements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage relationships with logistics providers, contract manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
Support forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization to meet business and customer needs.
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in medical technology, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management.
Experience managing suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and contract manufacturers.
Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to medical devices (ISO 13485, MDR, GMP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and German.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain software is an advantage.
