Overview of the Role:
Drive the sales of Quectel Smart Module/SoC (System-on-Chip) Portfolio across EMEA region (web)
Have the general understanding about the Android and Linux based systems, benefits of the SoC approach.
Be familiar with current major SoC chip and module solutions providers like: Qualcomm, NXP, TI, Ambarella, MTK
Display the experience and market know-how across relevant verticals like: Edge computing, In-car entertainment systems, PDAs and tablets, Robotics and smart factories, Smartphones, Smart POS, Smart home gateways, Vending machines, Video streaming, etc.
Have the ability to identify and develop new verticals, key accounts in those verticals and lead the customer acquisition process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with the Quectel Wireless Solutions Sales Team, to understand customer requirements and build a compelling connectivity value proposition
• Identifying and acquiring new IoT Connectivity and Serivces sales, selling directly to Quectel’s Wireless Solutions Customers
• Developing a good understanding of the customer needs, solutions, and vertical market
• Exceed quarterly and annual targets. Through forecast and financial planning
• Develop pipeline through prospecting, cross selling with Wireless Solutions Sales Team and industry events
• Aligning with the Country / Regional Sales Leadership
• Own and manage customer relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales cycle, as well as working with the Bid and Commercial Team on formal customer responses
• Utilisation of CRM tool to manage customer contacts, pipeline and opportunities
Experience
• 3-7 years of work experience. In-depth, understanding of the IoT, landscape, platforms, competitors, and overall value chain
• Proven track record of achieving “business development” sales targets, working in an “overlay” role
• Proven stakeholder management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English
• Ability to develop joint strategic sales plans for increased revenue and market share
• Ability to translate customer requirements into strategic proposals
