Production Area Lead - Dortmund (Germany) - Your future position?
Overall mission:
Coordinate assigned production team to accomplish all operational production processes
Responsibility for basic personnel management (excluding BEM, cost center responsibility, hiring/termination, salaries, leave policies, budget/investment planning and warning letters)
Support the Manager Liquid Production Germany in the execution of projects/work packages and the management of documentation/standards
Support daily operations in Liquid Production including team-based issue handling
You will be based in Dortmund and reporting directly to the Production Manager Liquid role
You will:
* Manage a liquid production team of 60 people concerning daily operation
* Ensure full performance of daily tasks; specifically, fulfillment of production schedule
* Comply with valid company regulations
* Be the first contact person for problem resolution and escalation within the team
* Follow up on technical notifications
* Follow up on all action pools including strategy (MFSI, MSI, action tracker, LFE)
* Plan smaller projects in the LQ area: analysis, estimation and optimization of processes and costs
* Coordinate project execution from start to finish
* Manage documents and standards (safety, HACCP, work instructions, SOPs/OPLs, etc.)
* Manage skill matrix and training materials
* Manage existing Indicators and create reports and compile statistics
* Support the department manager and team leaders on issues related to daily operations in WH and DIS
* Conduct training for operators and temps (initial briefings, CI, safety, quality, and documentation)
You:
Completed vocational training as a chemical technician or comparable in the food industry
Specialized further training is desirable
4-5 years of experience in the Food Industry with 2-3 years of people management experience
Fluency in German, conversational level in English
Experience using MS Office and SAP
Accurate, safe and efficient way of working
Team player mindset, flexibility to handle pressure in work
Customer-oriented thinking and acting
