Job Description
Join Azenta Life Sciences, a global leader in biospecimen management and genomic services. We drive scientific innovation across pharma, biotech, and healthcare worldwide. For our Project Management Office (PMO), we are looking for a Clinical Project Manager (m/f/d) for a temporary 1.5-year maternity leave cover.
Location: Griesheim (near Darmstadt) with 4 days on-site and 1 day home-office

How You'll Add Value
As a key member of our PMO, you will provide end-to-end project management support to both internal teams and clients. Guided by the Director, Clinical Program Management or a Program Manager, you'll develop deep expertise in our service offerings and build strong relationships with key customers. Your work will directly contribute to operational excellence, client success, and the continuous evolution of Azenta's high-quality standards.
What You'll Do
* Act as the primary contact for assigned client projects, building strong relationships that lead to customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Ensure customer expectations are fully understood, documented, and executed in line with all regulatory requirements.
* Navigate dynamic timelines and shifting priorities with confidence and efficiency.
* Monitor, track, and report performance metrics, ensuring transparency and progress.
* Develop and execute project plans, adjust timelines as needed, and maintain oversight of project scope and schedule. Support may include: kit provision & logistics, sample management, lab support services, relocation coordination, training, and partnership/alliance support.
* Drive quality assurance and risk management, ensuring deliverables meet both client and Azenta requirements.
* Participate in pre-sales discussions and client meetings as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvements by supporting the development and refinement of processes, SOPs, and quality initiatives within the Azenta Business System.
* Mentor Client Coordinators when required, fostering team growth and development.
* Manage client queries and support resolution efforts to maintain smooth operations.
What You'll Bring
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in a regulated environment with proven ability to apply foundational knowledge independently.
* Alternatively: High School Diploma plus significant relevant experience in a regulated industry.
* Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, in German and English, including presentation and structured problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to execute long-term projects and follow tasks through to completion.
* Proven capability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple stakeholders-internally and externally.
* Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
* Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus
* Additional languages welcome
