As part of our Project Management Office for Patient Specific Solutions (PSS), you’ll play a key role in driving innovation that directly improves patient care. PSS is a highly innovative area and a continuous growth driver — a true cornerstone of the business. You will lead diverse teams, manage complex projects, and contribute to shaping the next generation of patient‑specific products & solutions.
What You'll Do:
1. Work across a mix of hardware, software, and process improvement projects – managing initiatives that shape both our products and the way we operate.
2. Ensure seamless collaboration between R&D, AO, QA and other key functions
3. Lead the team with autonomy in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control projects. Evaluate tradeoffs within project scope, timeline, resources and budget.
4. Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage, and own project scope. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
5. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones. Own the project schedule.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
7. Develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan.
8. Estimate, acquire and assign cross-functional project resources. Facilitate alignment on roles, deliverables, and work packages across cross‑functional contributors to ensure clarity and effective collaboration.
9. In this role, you’ll have visibility across multiple functions and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions through strong project leadership and PMO best practices.

What You'll Need:
11. PMP or equivalent preferred
12. BS or equivalent & 3+ years of work experience Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments. Understands quality system(s).
13. High in emotional intelligence and stays calm under pressure. Adept in conflict resolution.
14. Drives results in support of the business, even under demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate.
15. Adept at team management selects the right people for the right tasks while maintaining team morale and recognizing contributions.

17. Incorporates end-user feedback to refine scope through the project lifecycle and communicates changes, updates, and decisions to key stakeholders.

22. Familiar with agile project management methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and able to apply them effectively within a corporate environment typically driven by Waterfall processes.
23. Experience in balancing hybrid project approaches (Waterfall and Agile) to support efficient delivery of both hardware and software medical device projects is preferred.
24. Background in process development or process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is considered a plus
