What you'll do
* Overall responsibility for four chemical production units
* Continuous analysis and optimization of production processes and bottlenecks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainability
* Strategic planning of production and personnel, ensuring compliance with EHS standards, quality requirements, productivity goals, and lean shopfloor management principles
* Disciplinary and technical leadership of production staff, including development and coaching
* Full budget responsibility and achievement of economic targets
* Close collaboration with other departments such as Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and R&D
What makes you a good fit
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field
* Several years of professional and leadership experience in the chemical industry, ideally in a regulated environment (e.g., REACH, GMP, Seveso)
* Solid knowledge of plant operations and continuous improvement methodologies such as KPI management, KAIZEN, 5S, and Six Sigma
* Strong leadership personality with natural authority, excellent communication skills, and high social competence
* Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach
* German and Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
