As Inside Sales Account Manager – Europe, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial growth of Kovalus across Central Europe, the UK & Ireland, the DACH region, and Benelux. The position focuses on both developing existing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities across the region. You will work closely with the European outside sales team and technical specialists to strengthen partnerships with customers, identify growth opportunities, and expand Kovalus’ presence in key industrial markets. Your ability to understand customer needs, build trusted relationships, and proactively support the sales process will be critical to the success of this role. Responsibilities Typical activities include: Key Responsibilities Account Management • Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders within existing customer accounts across multiple European markets. • Manage and expand the current customer portfolio, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and long-term account growth. • Monitor account performance and utilize data-driven insights to improve commercial outcomes. Sales Development & Revenue Growth • Support revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and identifying new customer opportunities within the assigned territory. • Develop new commercial relationships with customers in industries such as food & beverage, dairy, life sciences, water treatment, and industrial processing. • Execute targeted outreach campaigns and solution-based sales initiatives to develop new opportunities. Customer Engagement • Proactively engage with customers through regular follow-ups, virtual meetings, and account reviews. • Deliver product presentations and coordinate technical discussions together with internal engineering or technical teams. • Build long-term partnerships with customers across different European markets and cultural environments. Pipeline Management • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system. • Support the management of the European sales pipeline, ensuring proper qualification and progression of opportunities. • Provide regular updates to sales leadership regarding account development, commercial activities, and potential opportunities. Collaboration • Work closely with the European outside sales team, technical specialists, marketing, and customer service teams. • Conduct outreach to existing and potential customers with the objective of identifying opportunities and supporting sales meetings. • Participate in internal commercial meetings, product training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities. Qualifications: What You’ll Bring Required • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, inside sales, or commercial support roles within industrial, life sciences, water treatment, or food processing sectors. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in international and multicultural business environments. • Ability to work independently within a remote or hybrid work structure. • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced commercial setting. • Experience working with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, or a related technical discipline. Preferred • Experience with separation technologies, membrane filtration, or process technologies. • Experience working with European industrial customers or markets. • Additional European languages (such as German, Dutch, French, or Italian) are considered a strong advantage. • Experience supporting international sales teams and complex technical sales processes.
