Software Test Architect (m/f/d)
In this role you have the opportunity to drive and design efficient solutions for the software verification of the Philips patient monitors in close collaboration with the global teams from Software and Hardware Verification, Software Development, Systems Engineering and Quality Engineering to continuously improve our test processes and tools.
Your role:
1. Test concept leadership for our patient monitoring platforms. As one of the main technical interfaces engage and contribute to the definition of testable requirements and coach the test teams in implementing and performing test plans.
2. Test strategy and test approach. Collaborate with architects and designers to create testable, maintainable systems and convert requirements into test designs.
3. Guaranteeing the quality of the software by specifying product verification plans together with cross-functional verification teams (e.g. HW test engineering team).
4. Defining acceptance criteria & supported scenarios together with product owners & subject matter experts in the development teams.
5. Define the way of working for the software test engineering team and ensure that this way of working that is in line with (regulatory) standards & processes
6. Stakeholder management within and beyond own team, e.g. functional managers, project manager, systems engineers/ development engineers.
7. Designing and delivering comprehensive and efficient best practices.

10. Excellent and proven experience in translating test architecture into V&V plans.

12. Strong drive in the field of software testing.
13. Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and related test automation tools (Gherkin).
14. Experience with Systems Engineering (SysML, Cameo) and Requirements Engineering.
15. Experience in test management in TFS / Azure DevOps.
16. Experience with Github.
17. Programming skills (C#, C++, Python).
18. Domain Expertise in the field of patient monitoring.
19. Fluent in German and English language, both spoken and written.
20. Experience in influential leadership (Führen ohne Weisungsbefugnis) is required.
