Swiss Airtainer S.A. is a highly innovative start-up that develops advanced air cargo container solutions used for transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals.We are now in a phase to scale up the production and therefore looking for an experienced, and enthusiastic Production Manager who will be responsible for the production of our container solution in coordination with our main suppliers in Germany, Italy and France.You will be working direct under the Accountable Manager for our Production Organisation which is approved by the aviation authority.You will also have to be approved by the aviation authority as you will have a role as a Nominated Post Holder in the production organisationTravel is expected and work at other locations will be required from time to time for shorter periods. You will be joining a great team of co-workers, who value performance, creativity, and sustainability.Area of Responsibility / job roleFull coordination of activities required to meet the production schedule this involves but not limited to:Exchanges of required documentation between the main supplier and our engineering department.Hosting coordination meetings with suppliers as required.Ensuring supplier quality as well as On-time delivery from all involved system suppliers.Drive production improvements initiative with the suppliers and our engineering department.Handling productions deviation in cooperation with the supplier and our engineering department.Ensuring that the Production organisation is continuously in compliance with the procedures defined in the Production Organisation Exposition and related procedures and regulations/requirements.Managing the budget for the production.Review the completed documentation as well as coordinate / perform the final inspection and issue the airworthiness certificate EASA Form 1 for the released container.Ensuring archiving of EASA Form 1 and related material and production data for released products.Duties as described in the approved production manual.Qualifications and experienceTechnical/engineering background preferably from a regulated industry such as aviation.Project management skills.Experience from manufacturing management.Working level with office 365, excel, word, power point.Working knowledge to interpret drawings and associated standards.Nice to haveLight 3D CAD skills.Experience from ISO 9001, EN9100 standards.Experience with composites e g manufacturing/repair.ProfilePragmatic, flexible, curious and innovative yet a high integrity is required.Humble and ability to cooperate at people at different levels/functions nationalities.Strategic thinking and ability to put strategy in actionable activities to achieve the long-term goals;· Enjoy multicultural environment and traveling to mainly Germany, Italy, Switzerland and other countries as required.Proficient in German and English; English is the company's working language.Excellent writing skills.Location and TermsEmployment Type: Full time.Working location: Germany, Saxony region, near DöbelnYou will be offered regulatory training as well as technical introduction at our supplier for the battery power system, refrigeration system, electronic controlling system and the structure.For any query, please contact Please submit your C.V with a minimum of two references and salary expectations to above email address.
