Job Description
As part of the Airbus Quality unit, you will have the following responsibilities:
Project Support
1. Develop a Quality Assurance Plan for projects developing new products and services
2. Check new customer contracts for quality requirements, track and implement changes
3. Flow down the contract-specific quality requirements ( to the project, suppliers, subcontractors)
4. Ensure project milestones and review gates are planned and implemented
5. Perform the counterparty role for customer Quality Assurance Representatives
6. Provide business process awareness, training and coaching
Product & Service Assurance
7. Ensure Quality Control Activities are planned and performed by the responsible people
8. Execute Supplier audits and support First Article Inspection (FAI)
9. Ensure management of Non-Conformance by project and service teams
10. Ensure customer deliverables meet customer requirements
Business Improvement
11. Promote a preventative culture with the business.
12. Monitor customer complaints and satisfaction, trace back to root cause and track implementation of the resolution
13. Perform process audits
14. Escalate hot topics and items of non-compliance
15. Facilitate the lessons learned process and foster best practices sharing
Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
16. Master’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace engineering with a focus on quality or similar
17. Several years of experience in the aerospace industry focused on quality management for space products/solutions
18. Proficient with SAP and MS Office tools, familiar with quality management software
19. Knowledge of DOORS is desirable
20. Team player with proactive and an operational way of working
21. Business fluency in German and English is mandatory
