We employ around 500 professionals who are active across Europe with offices in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom to drive the energy transition together. Our role in Vattenfall is to maximize the value of the overall portfolio by optimizing and dispatching, hedging, and sourcing for Vattenfall's sales and generation volumes. As Lead HR Business Partner, you will be an important key partner to the Business Unit Trading Management Team while helping shape the People agenda across BA Markets and Vattenfall Group. Next to being an integral part of the Management Team of BU Trading, you are also a core member of the HR BP team within the People function of Business Area Markets. You will report directly to the Vice President of People, Business Area Markets.

The purpose of the Lead HR Business Partnering is to ensure that the HR strategy is properly executed and meets the business needs within your area of responsibility. You manage and inspire the stakeholders within the frameworks set by Corporate People & Culture. In the light of our continuous ambition for excellence, you ensure that the set People plans and targets contribute towards added value to the business. You will also support the Vice President People for Business Area Markets, in delivering transformational plans linked to the ongoing delivery of strategic and growth initiatives within BA Markets and within People & Culture.
Key responsibilities:
* Partner with the Business Unit Management Team to execute People Strategy and transformation and excellence plans.
* Support organizational development and change management.
* Facilitate talent management while focusing on competence and culture shift.
* Drive HR compliance, employment law issues, and negotiations.
* Guide BU Trading on HR policies and legal requirements.
* Have a sound understanding of the Compensation and Benefit Plans of the respective business unit.
* Develop recruitment strategies and resourcing plans that support business needs.
* Assure that all Health & Safety initiatives are well implemented.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you need to be a confident senior business partner and influential leader who can bring people together towards a common goal. This role will require a natural ability to manage several priorities, while focusing on the bigger picture.

qualifications

* Academic degree in HR, Law, or related field.
* Multiple years of relevant HR expertise in a guiding role.
* Experience with collective labor agreements and HR regulations in Germany.
* Proven and senior HR leadership in international matrix organizations, supporting executives.
* Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills.
