Quality Manager (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
* Preventive Quality Assurance: As early as the development phase, you will moderate Product Risk Assessments, identify Critical to Quality (CtQ) properties, and proactively define the corresponding test plans.
* Supplier Management & Audits: You will confidently manage complaint handling, assess Root Cause and Corrective Actions provided by our suppliers, and perform audits within the region.
* Decision-Making Power: As a voting member of the Material Review Board (MRB), you will make independent decisions on how to handle suspect or blocked inventory – ranging from release and repair to return or scrapping.
* Customer Focus & Solution Competence: You will be the first point of contact for customer complaints, analyze defect products or packaging, and transparently communicate the resolution status to our customers.
* System Design: You will actively support the setup and continuous improvement of our local Quality Management System (QMS) and process descriptions at the Stolberg site.
* Global Impact: As an active member of the Global Quality and Compliance Team, you will take responsibility for international initiatives and drive global objectives (OKRs) forward.
Your profile:
* Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or have a comparable background paired with a strong technical understanding.
* Experience: You bring 5 to 10 years of solid professional experience in quality management – with a strong emphasis on supplier quality, complaint management, audits, and production.
* Communication & Internationality: Since we operate globally, fluent English is an absolute must (international work experience is a major plus). German skills are important, but native-level proficiency is not required.
* Flexibility: You appreciate working independently (including remote setups) and bring a moderate willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
* The Perfect Addition: Certifications such as a Six Sigma Green Belt or in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 are not mandatory, but a clear "nice-to-have" that perfectly rounds off your profile.
