In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, you’ll be right in the middle of the action:We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our R&D team focusing ondevelopment of AI-based solutions foradvancedsurgicalplanningfor navigation inrobot-assistedorthopaedicsurgery. In this role,you'llhave the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to acutting-edgesolution for computer-assisted surgery that can have a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities:
1. Take an active, hands-on role in the development ofSW featuresand solutions that directlyimpactpatient outcomes.
2. Engage incomplexproblem-solvingtasks, systematicallyidentifychallenges, and brainstorm innovative solutions.
3. Design, develop, and implement software components usingC++ on a Linuxplatform.
4. Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, biomedical specialists, and domain experts.
5. Evaluate the performance of developed algorithms usingappropriate metrics.
6. Document and present findings, designs, and results.

7. You are currently enrolled in a master's program in computer science, biomedicalengineeringor a related field.
8. Youdemonstratea strong interest in medical technology and healthcare software.
9. Youpossesspractical experience withC++ and Python.
10. You haveastrong foundationin computer vision, imageprocessingand/or machine learning.
11. Familiarity with medical imaging (CT, MRI) andsegmentation techniquesis a plus.
12. Youhave the ability towork both independently and collaboratively.
13. You havegood communicationand documentation skills in English.
